Technically, it all started on a dating app, where Scott made several attempts to get Evaggelia’s attention… all of which were politely ignored for a full 4–5 months.
When she finally replied, our first real conversation was about a zombie apocalypse. That’s when we realized we were a perfect match.
In April 2024, in Liverpool, we met in person, talked, and drank quite a bit. Somehow, things quickly turned into a relationship.
In June and August 2024, we traveled to Rome and France, setting the tone for a life full of adventures, plans, and a few questionable decisions along the way.
In November 2024, Morocco came next. That’s where Scott proposed in the Sahara Desert. For a brief but intense moment, Evaggelia thought it was a kidnapping rather than a proposal.
Once the misunderstanding was cleared up, the answer was an easy “yes.” Life after the engagement moved even faster.
Many trips in Greece, plenty of weekends in the UK, and road trips including a 2,000-kilometer drive through Turkey. Together, we experienced everyday life, argued, laughed, cried, and realized we are always better as a team.
Now we’re getting married as best friends, bound by so much love and everything we’ve lived through together. And we’re celebrating on Spetses, on September 19th, 2026, with the people who have been part of this journey from the very beginning.
Why Spetses?
Spetses isn’t just a beautiful island, it’s Evaggelia’s hometown. It’s where her roots are, where family means everything, and where Scott was welcomed from day one and treated like one of their own. There was never any doubt about where we’d get married.
We can’t wait to celebrate in a place that feels like home, with the people who’ve been part of the journey from the very beginning.
